summer

im only writing this blog due to a particular educational purpose, to be more exact this is my ticket to boost my english skills. apparently my english is a catastrophe :(
so today is day 1 of my summer break… you would probably expect me to write all the jovial gleeful stuff about summer, but this is my last summer in indonesia as a student :( i contemplate all day on how much i will miss it here. in addition, yesterday was my last day in gmis, my school of 12 years. it is indeed a despairing moment.
for 12 years that school have given me ample of memories to cherish through the years. Although i have continuously complaint on the horrendous program it offered, and how it is an evil money-sucking machine, that school will always perch on a special place in my heart. i mean, what do you expect? i spent my whole life there (as of now).
the highlight of my experience in gmis is without a doubt meeting the people there, whom i now call my friends. I’ve grown side by side along them, which has brought us close. they never fail to enlighten my day with their outrageous jokes and pranks. i know a lot of people would say their friends are crazy, fun, wild etcetc, but my friends are truly something (at least to me they are :P) leaving them would be the hardest thing to do for my big move in august.
well being an optimist, im moving to the land where the legendary harry potter was born! yes the united kingdom. i hope to take up their sexy british accent and maybe catch one of one direction’s concert LOL. with luck, i hope i’ll make more great friends there and ace my a levels! also getting into a top 10 university and graduate as a doctor (amen!)
I still have 4 months left in jakarta, but i know these 4 months would pass by with the speed of light. I have planned a lot of things that needs to be done before i leave for the uk, having fun is obviously on the top my of list. spending time with my dearly beloved family is also my top priority.
This is basically the stuff that will be haunting my mind for the rest of my remaining summer here. i just hope all goes well! fingers crossed
